Former Indian Test opener Virender Sehwag, ever since retiring from international cricket has been active on Twitter to showcase his sense of humour and cricketing views with his witty one-liners and tweets.
He once again took Twitter in order to make a funny, but a rather true statement about Pakistan’s wicket-keeper Umar Akmal, who has been dropped from the national side after his inconsistent performances.
The 26-year-old Akmal is a regular tweeter and most of his tweets include pictures of himself in various poses.
Virender Sehwag was quick to take a dig at Akmal’s picture and took to his Twitter account for posting a message:
Main to nanha Sa, Munna Sa ,pyaara Sa bachha hoon.Ek chaat 4-4 bat.
A great talent with the bat @Umar96Akmal pic.twitter.com/tFXj93HGlg— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) July 20, 2016
The tweet can be read as a taunt at Akmal’s immaturity as well as his ‘talent’ with the bat, which despite having shown early promise is not considered good enough for him to make a comeback in the national team anymore.
