Ajinkya Rahane scores his 7th Hundred in Test Cricket

Ajinkya Rahane registered his seventh Test hundred during the course of India’s first innings against West Indies on Day 3 of the Second Test being played at the Sabina Park,Kingston.

He remained not out on 108 runs as Team India declared its 1st Innings at a score of 500/9.

Statistical Highlight of Rahane’s innings :

1.) This is the fifth occasion where Rahane has scored a hundred outside India out of his 7 centuries.

2.) Among his seven Test centuries, six are in different countries.

2.) This is Rahane’s third Test century in his last four innings.

3.) Rahane now has 90+ Test score in every country he has played. He scored centuries in Australia, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, India and West Indies and nineties in Bangladesh and South Africa.

4.) This is the 8th consecutive Test series where Rahane scored at least 90 or more runs in a series, starting from India tour of South Africa in 2013-14.
