Bhuvneshwar Kumar swings through West Indies batting line-up in 1st Innings (WI vs IND Test Series 2016)

On Day 4 of the 3rd Test being played at St. Lucia, Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled a masterful spell of swing bowling. Bhuvi, who is playing his first Test in a year and a half, swung through the West Indies side with a spell of 11.4-6-16-5 as West Indies went from 194 for 3 to 225 all out.

Post lunch, with West Indies going fairly well in their quest to ensure they don’t lose this Test, it was Bhuvneshwar who turned the match around with the second new ball.

Now, with a day left in the match and India ahead by 285 runs at the end of 4th day’s play, there are chances for Team India to win this Test match if Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane and upcoming batsmen score at a healthy run-rate in the morning session. India can declare at a lead of around 330+ and ask the West Indies team to bat for at least 70 overs.

Brief score at the end of Day 4:

India : 353 and 157/3 (Rahane 51 n.o) lead West Indies : 225 by 285 runs.
