ICC trolls Ajit Agarkar, asks if he is the next Michael Phelps

It is not often that the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Twitter account makes a sarcastic comment towards any cricketer. But the ongoing Rio Olympics is on everybody’s mind, and Ajit Agarkar found himself at the end of some wicked humour by the social media account handlers of cricket’s governing body.

Posting a picture of Agarkar which shows the former cricketer posing for a photo in a swimming pool, ICC’s Twitter handle asked if Agarkar is the next Michael Phelps.

It is an old photo of Agarkar swimming at the team hotel in Port-of-Spain on 26 March 2007.

Michael Phelps is an American swimmer who holds the record of winning highest medals in Olympics history and is considered as one of the greatest athletes of all time.

Ajit Agarkar, who represented India in 26 Tests and 191 One-Day Internationals after retirement is currently pursuing a career in golf.
