WATCH: When Gautam Gambhir shared his ‘Man of the Match Award’ with Virat Kohli

During an ODI match against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens in 2009, India left-handed batsman Gautam Gambhir shared his ‘Man of the Match award’ with young Virat Kohli. Gambhir remained not out on 150 whereas Kohli scored his maiden ODI century in that game.

“Gambhir wants to share the award with Kohli,” Ravi Shastri announced in front of the cheering crowd.
