On 9th September 1994, batting legend Sachin Tendulkar scored his first ODI century. He made 110 runs off 130 balls against Australia at Colombo.

It took Sachin 78 matches to register his first hundred in ODI’s, but after that the Master Blaster literally never stopped.


Before his first ODI Hundred, Sachin’s record read :
78 Matches, 2126 Runs, 50’s: 17

After retirement Sachin’s ODI record finally reads :
463 Matches, 18426 Runs, 100’s : 49 , 50’s : 96
