Former Australian wicket-keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist celebrated his 45th birthday on Monday.
On this occasion, the Nawab of Najafgarh, Virender Sehwag wished the Aussie great in his typical style, invoking India’s traditional game of ‘Gilli-Danda’ and perfectly conjuring up a beautiful word-play with Gilchrist’s nickname.
Sehwag wished ‘Gilly’ on Twitter and wrote :”Today is a day to play Gilli Danda as a tribute to the incredible @gilly381 . Happy Birthday Adam Gilchrist”.
