WATCH : Ravichandran Ashwin dismisses Alastair Cook on his first ball at Mohali

On the first day of the ongoing 3rd Test against England, Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin got the wicket of England’s skipper Alastair Cook on the very first ball of his over. Cook was caught behind by Parthiv Patel who made his comeback after 8 years.

Skipper Virat Kohli was caught on camera giving a friendly nudge to Ashwin as the team was celebrating Cook’s wicket.

Earlier, Ashwin dropped the easiest catch of Alastair Cook which any fielder would have taken at this level of the game. The left-hander chipped a straight catch to Ashwin of Mohammed Shami‘s bowling.
