India batter Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out of the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia due to back injury.

Here are Shreyas Iyer’s four possible replacements:

1. RAJAT PATIDAR

Patidar has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket and was Iyer’s replacement during the New Zealand ODIs.

2. DEEPAK HOODA

He has been included in India’s ODI squad multiple times, and his ability to bowl off-spin can be an
added advantage.

3. SANJU SAMSON

He played some handy knocks against West Indies and South Africa in the home ODIs last year.

4. RAHUL TRIPATHI

He has a wide array of strokes and, with his IPL experience, can be a suitable replacement for Iyer at number 4.
