Following Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) disappointing exit from the IPL 2023, former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has suggested that RCB’s star batter, Virat Kohli, should consider moving to Delhi Capitals (DC) in the upcoming season.

RCB’s campaign came to an end with a heartbreaking loss to Gujarat Titans (GT), leaving Kohli frustrated and disappointed in their pursuit of their first IPL title. Despite Kohli’s magnificent century, scoring 101 off 61 balls, RCB failed to defend their total of 197 runs, allowing the Titans to chase it down with relative ease.

Kohli’s frustration was evident as he expressed his disappointment by hurling a bottle after RCB’s inability to defend the challenging target. In light of RCB’s elimination, Pietersen took to Twitter and advised Kohli to make a move to the Capitals for future IPL seasons, stating, “Time for VIRAT to make the move to the capital city…! #IPL.”

This suggestion from Pietersen garnered mixed reactions from cricket fans on the platform. While some staunch RCB supporters criticized the former England cricketer for proposing such a move, many encouraged Kohli to consider the advice.

It is worth noting that Kohli has been associated with RCB since the inception of the IPL in 2008. The 34-year-old holds the record for the most IPL matches played for a single franchise, displaying his loyalty to RCB throughout his IPL career.
