During the contest, both teams’ batters enjoyed a productive day, delighting fans with several powerful hits. North Delhi Strikers’ opener, Vaibhav Kandpal, stood out with his explosive performance. The left-hander took the Central Delhi Kings’ bowlers apart, hitting five sixes, including one that traveled an impressive distance.

The shot came during the middle overs when the pressure was on to accelerate the run rate. The bowler, attempting to cramp Vaibhav for room, switched to bowling around the wicket. He delivered a short-pitched delivery that drifted down the leg side, a risky line against a set batter like Vaibhav.

Recognizing the opportunity instantly, Vaibhav quickly adjusted his stance, allowing him to free his arms. With a powerful swing of the bat, he connected perfectly, sending the ball soaring high over the square leg boundary. The shot was not just about power but also impeccable timing and precision. The ball cleared the boundary by a significant margin as it disappeared into the stands.
