Top 4 scores by No.8 or below  in the IPL history

Rashid Khan exhibited top-class batting for  Gujarat Titans in Match 57 of IPL 2023  against Mumbai Indians.

The Afghanistan star etched his name  in record books, hitting a half-century  after walking to bat at number 8.

Rashid smashed an unbeaten 79 off 32 balls, including 3 fours and 10 sixes.

It was also the highest score  by a number 8 in the  history of the cash-rich league.

52* - Chris Morris (DC) against MI

In the 25th match of IPL 2017, Morris smashed unbeaten 52 off 41 balls for DC against MI.  DC, however, still lost the game by 14 runs.

64 - Harbhajan Singh (MI)  against PBKS

While representing MI In 2015, Harbhajan Singh played a brilliant knock of 64 from 24 balls, including 5 fours and 6 sixes  against PBKS (then KXIP). 

66* - Pat Cummins (KKR) against CSK

In IPL 2021, the thrilling contest between  KKR and CSK saw Pat Cummings  registering a special record.  Cummins smashed 66 from 34 balls,  laced with 4 fours and 6 sixes.

79* - Rashid Khan (GT) vs MI

In IPL 2023, Rashid registered history with his stunning batting display. Although GT fell 27 runs short, Rashid impressed everyone with unbeaten  79 off 32 balls, including 3 fours and 10 sixes.
