On April 22, Punjab Kings fast bowler Arshdeep Singh stunned everyone with his sheer pace in IPL 2023.
Arshdeep’s sensational performance came in the 31st match of the ongoing tournament against Mumbai Indians.
The left-arm pacer went on to break the stumps twice in the game through well-executed yorkers.
Asked to bat first, Punjab posted a huge total of 214 for the loss of eight wickets.
In reply, Mumbai started decently and looked good in the run chase.
Cameron Green (67) and Suryakumar Yadav (57) almost shifted the match in MI’s favour.
However, Arshdeep helped PBKS make a comeback by dismissing Surya in the 18th over.
The 24-year-old Punjab cricketer once again returned to bowl the final over with 15 runs to defend.
In the 20th over, he cleaned up Tilak Varma by bowling a brilliant yorker & breaking the middle stump into two pieces.
On the very next ball, he gave a similar sent-off to Nehal Wadhera, and the stumps were once again left into bits.
