Let’s have a look at Australia’s journey in the WTC 2021-23:
Australia's first assignment in the cycle was the home Ashes 2021-22 where the hosts scripted a dominating 4-0 win.
In March 2022, Australia toured Pakistan for the first time since 1998. The opening two Tests ended in draws and Australia won the final match to clinch the series 1-0.
Australia then traveled Sri Lanka for a two-match series which ended in a 1-1 draw. The visitors won the first game before the Islanders bounced back and claimed victory in the 2nd match.
In late 2022, Australia hosted West Indies for the 2-match Test series where they whitewashed the tourists.
The Aussies continued their domination in the 3-match home Test series against South Africa. The hosts won first two games while the final Test ended in a draw due to rain.
Australia's only series defeat in the cycle came in their tour of India. The hosts won first two games before Aussies grabbed triumph in the third. India then clinched the series 2-1 after the final match ended in a draw.
