Five lowest Test totals of Australia in Asia

The lowest total of Australia in Asia came way back in 1956 when they were bowled out for just 80 runs by Pakistan in Karachi.

Pakistan's Fazal Mahmood took 6 wickets in the first innings of the match.

India in the recently concluded Test in Nagpur bundled out Australia for their second lowest score in Asia.

Australia in the second innings of the match were brushed off for 91 runs by the hosts in the opening game of  Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023.

The third modest total Australia made was in 2004 against India in Mumbai.

Harbhajan Singh played a significant role in dismantling Australia line-up and took a five- wicket haul.

Australia's fourth lowest total is also against India but it came very long ago in 1959 when the former was restricted to 105 runs in Kanpur Test.

India's Jasubhai Patel picked 14 wickets in the match and helped India clinch a historic win.

The Aussies were cleaned-up by the Islanders with 106 run on the board in Galle.
