7 IPL 2023 stars ignored by BCCI for West Indies T20I series
India will square off against West Indies in a multi-format series comprising two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is.
The T20I series between the Men in Blue and Men in Maroon will commence from August 3 after the conclusion of Tests and ODIs.

The BCCI recently unveiled a strong squad for the five-match T20I leg. However, the team didn't feature many star performers from IPL 2023.

1) Rinku Singh
Despite impressing with his destructive batting style and amassing 474 runs in IPL 2023, KKR sensational Rinku was snubbed by the Indian selectors.
2) Ruturaj Gaikwad
Although Ruturaj was included in Test and ODI squad for the Windies tour, he failed to find a place in the shortest format.
3) Shivam Dube
Dube had a great outing in the 16th edition of IPL, scoring 418 runs for CSK but was overlooked by the BCCI.
4) Varun Chakravarthy
Chakravarthy picked 20 wickets for KKR in 14 IPL 2023 matches. However, he also failed to find a place in the Indian squad.
5) Mohit Sharma
Veteran pacer Mohit had a sensational IPL early this year with 27 wickets but wasn't considered by the BCCI for the Windies tour.
6) Jitesh Sharma
Jitesh showcased brilliant hitting for PBKS in the IPL 2023 but was not picked for the Indian team by the selectors.
7) Venkatesh Iyer
Venkatesh amassed 404 runs for KKR in IPL 2023, comprising one century, but he still didn't receive a call-up from the Indian side.
