IPL 2017: Mayank Agarwal to play for Rising Pune Supergiants

Opening batsman Mayank Agarwal has been signed by Rising Pune Supergiants for the 2017 edition of the Indian Premier League.

Mayank was acquired by the Rising Pune Supergiants from Delhi Daredevils in the second trading window for IPL 2017, which was opened from January 13 to 20. The move was the first trade of the season.

Agarwal’s signing comes on the backdrop of his performances in the Karnataka Premier League (KPL T20) where he finished as the leading run-getter in the tournament. He made 414 runs at an outstanding average of 103.50 to go with a strike rate of 172.50, including one century and three half-centuries.
