In the first warm-up game against England played at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, MS Dhoni, who was playing his last match as a captain, scored a quick fifty (68 runs in total) and helped India A post a total of 304.
The fans in the stadium went berserk with chants of “Dhoni, Dhoni, Dhoni” right from the start of the match. Dhoni also finished the Indian innings in his own trademark style by scoring 23 runs off Chris Woakes last over.
Also, even Yuvraj Singh, who has been selected in the ODI team after 3 years, didn’t disappoint in this game and scored 56 off just 48 balls. Yuvi smashed 2 sixes off English leg-spinner Adil Rashid‘s over.
