On 18th January 2015, South African star batsman AB de Villiers registered his name in the record books by scoring the fastest ODI century.
De Villiers smashed the West Indies bowlers all over the park and completed his hundred off just 31 balls to beat the previous quickest set by New Zealand’s all-rounder Corey Anderson off 36 balls.
During his scintillating knock, Mr.360 also clobbered 16 sixes- the most by a South African and the joint-highest number of sixes overall in an ODI innings by Indian opener Rohit Sharma.
