Here’s the World record Ravichandran Ashwin can create in Test series against Bangladesh

Team India’s off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is nearing yet another World record as India gear up to face Bangladesh in a one-off Test match series starting in Hyderabad from February 9.

The Chennai-lad has so far picked up 248 wickets in 44 Test matches at an average of 24.96 including 24 five-wicket hauls and is therefore two wickets away of becoming fastest to reach 250 Test wickets.

Currently, Australian fast bowling legend Dennis Lillee, holds the record as he reached the 250th mark in 48 matches.
