The runner-up of the Indian Premier League season 9, Royal Challengers Bangalore, will face the defending champions, Sunrisers Hyderabad, in the opening encounter of the upcoming season, which starts on April 5.

Under Virat Kohli‘s captaincy, RCB will be playing their first game against the SRH at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
