India captain Virat Kohli on Thursday added yet another feather to his cap as he completed 1000 runs in the ongoing home season of Tests matches.
Kohli is now the third Indian batsman after Virender Sehwag and Sunil Gavaskar to achieve the feat.
Out of the 1000 runs in this home season, Kohli managed to score 655 runs against England at an average of 109.17. Another 309 came off his bat against New Zealand at an average of 51.50.
Kohli also scored his maiden Test hundred against Bangladesh at Hyderabad and therefore completed centuries versus all the teams he played against.
