WATCH: Murali Vijay survives after Mehedi Hasan misses a simple run out chance (IND v BAN Test Series 2017)

On the first day of the Hyderabad Test played between India and Bangladesh, Indian opening batsman Murali Vijay survived in the first session after Bangladeshi bowler Mehedi Hasan missed out an easy chance to run-out the right-hander.

Both Cheteshwar Pujara and Vijay were nearly at the same end when the rapid throw from Sabbir Rahman reached the bowler. But it was a lucky chance for Vijay as the left-arm spinner was unable to collect the ball and he (Vijay) comfortablely completed the run.
