On Day 2 of the ongoing Test match between India and Bangladesh at Hyderabad, Bangladeshi skipper Mushfiqur Rahim missed the golden opportunity to stump the Indian wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha, who later went on to score a briliant hundred (106 runs off 156 balls).
This all happened on the first ball of the 118th over of Indian innings, which was bowled by off-spinner Mehedi Hasan. Saha was on strike and he decided to take the airial route. But, he could not hit the ball and what all Rahim had to do was to just collect the ball, whip the bails off and send the batsman back to pavilion.
However, Rahim missed the stumping chance in his first attempt and till the time he whipped the bails, Saha was way back into his crease.
