India vs Australia 3rd Test: Virat Kohli to participate in the rest of the match confirms BCCI

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that skipper Virat Kohli has not suffered any serious injury after hurting his shoulder on the first day of the third Test in Ranchi.

“The BCCI Medical Team confirms that Indian Captain Mr. Virat Kohli is presently undergoing treatment to recuperate from a strain in his right shoulder. He will continue to receive treatment, which will assist him to participate in the rest of the match,” BCCI statement reads.

Kohli got injured while saving a boundary during the post lunch session of Day 1. After that he had to leave the field and Ajinkya Rahane lead the team entire day.

Well, now the team management is confident that Kohli will recover and be available for the rest of the match.
