Rising Pune Supergiant have added Shardul Thakur to their squad for the upcoming 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The IPL twitter handle shared the news with fans on Monday morning through a tweet: “UPDATE: @RPSupergiants have acquired the services of Kings XI Punjab’s pacer @imShard for VIVO IPL 2017.”
Earlier, Thakur played just one game when he represented Kings XI Punjab in the IPL 2015.
Also, this is RPS’ second trade since the IPL 2017 auctions, after picking Delhi Daredevils’ (DD) batsman Mayank Agarwal in their first move. Thakur is one of the most consistent swing bowlers in India’s current domestic pool of players.
