Team India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja completed his 1000 Test runs in the ongoing 4th Test against Australia in Dharamsala.
The series between the top two teams so far is known for different on-field incidents, from Matt Renshaw moving out of the ground for a toilet break in the Pune Test to Virat Kohli being mocked by the Australian fielders in Ranchi
And now, another incident has come across during Team India’s first innings in the final Test.
In the 87th over, when Ravindra Jadeja was batting, Australia’s wicketkeeper Matthew Wade tried to get under Jadeja’s skin by constantly chirping behind the stumps. But Jadeja gave him a cracking response to him.
This is what actually happened in between the 87th over:
86.4 – “Very good in all conditions, Gary. Great in all conditions, Gary.”
86.5 – “Showed you can do it all conditions, Gary. You get wickets all over the world, mate. You’re not just a one-trick pony.”
86.6 – Ravindra Jadeja steps down the wicket and dispatches Nathan Lyon for a big six over wide long-on.
(Wade tried to unsettle Jadeja by calling him a ‘one-trick pony’ but Jadeja responded by hitting Lyon for six off the following ball.)
After this, Wade didn’t try to open his mouth and speak a word against Sir Jadeja.
