Rohit Sharma to play for Mumbai in upcoming matches of Vijay Hazare Trophy

Star batsman Rohit Sharma, who plays for Mumbai in the domestic circuit, has recovered from a thigh surgery and is now completely fit after having undergone rehabilitation at National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.

Rohit will now be playing for Mumbai in the upcoming matches of the Vijay Haze trophy, against Andhra Pradesh and Goa scheduled for March 4th and March 6th respectively.

The 29 year-old took to his Twitter handle and shared his excitement with fans.

He tweeted, “Finally done with rehab, Can’t wait to play Vijay Hazare on 4th & 6th. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here. Counting down the minutes.”

In his tweet, Rohit also thanked everyone who helped him get pass this tough stage.

Rohit has last played for India in the 1st ODI against New Zealand in October 2016 and since then, has missed the ODI and T20I series against England.
