VIDEO: Virat Kohli makes a huge DRS blunder against Australia in the 2nd Test

Virat Kohli Stupidily Out.

In the first innings of the 2nd Test between India and Australia, being played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, Indian skipper Virat Kohli was dismissed cheaply by the Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon.

Kohli scored 12 runs off 17 balls, before he was adjusted LBW by the umpire just after the lunch session.

For the second time in the series, Kohli was dismissed without offering a shot to a ball that didn’t do a great deal. He was bowled by Steven O’Keefe in the second innings of the Pune Test and this time he was LBW to Lyon.

All this happened in the 34th over of Indian innings, when Lyon bowled a simple off break delivery and instead of playing a forward defensive stroke, Kohli went back and left the ball thinking it would go down the leg stump.

A strong appeal was made by the Aussies and Kohli was given OUT by the on-field umpire. But the right-hander then proceeded to have a discussion with his partner at the other end, KL Rahul and bizarrely opted to take the DRS.

But, the replay clearly showed that the ball was hitting the middle and leg, which was enough to have him walking back to the pavilion.
