On Day 3 of the 2nd Test match played between India and Australia at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru, Team India’s champion batsman Ajinkya Rahane scored a brilliant fifty in the second innings on the turning pitch.
Ajinkya formed a match-winning partnership with ‘Mr. Dependable’, Cheteshwar Pujara. But, when Rahane moved towards the dressing room on the stroke of Tea break his wife Radhika couldn’t hide her emotions. She stood up to applaud her husband’s brilliant effort and the camera caught her wiping happy tears from her eyes.
It was a very touching moment for her and Rahane’s fans as well. Earlier, there were also speculations in media that Rahane will be dropped from the team due to his poor form but the team showed full faith in him and he performed well in the second Test.
