In what would be a huge boost for the injury-marred Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise, star batsman AB de Villiers has arrived in Bangalore and is looking forward to his participation in the 10th season of the IPL.
Earlier, there were reports of De Villiers missing out on the tournament after he was ruled out of the final match for his domestic side Titans in the Momentum Cup, due to a back injury.
But putting all those rumours to rest, De Villiers has also joined the Bengaluru-based franchise, ahead of IPL 2017.
On Monday, AB took to Twitter and informed his fans that he had reached Bangalore is looking forward to the start of the tournament.
But, De Villiers will miss the IPL opener on Wednesday (April 5), when RCB take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Hyderabad. Also, the franchise is hoping that ABD will be available for their second match against Delhi Daredevils at home on April 8.
