IPL 2017: AB de Villiers ruled out of the match against Gujarat Lions

Posted On

After missing the first two matches of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), AB de Villiers has now been ruled out of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team for a game against Gujarat Lions on Tuesday.

De Villiers took to his Twitter account and confirmed the news and this is sure to dent the confidence of the underperforming side.

“Disappointed to be missing the match tonight for RCB, due to injury. Good luck to @imVkohli and the team. Lets go @RCBTweets !!,” the South African right-hander wrote on the micro-blogging website.

RCB are at the bottom of the points table with just 1 win from 5 matches. They are desperately in search of success as they face Suresh Raina-led GL side at Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) stadium in Rajkot
