Former Rising Pune Supergiant skipper MS Dhoni has not been to the best of his form with the bat in the ongoing 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
So far, he carries a batting stat of 12-ball 12 in the first game, 11-ball 5 in second, 14-ball 11 in third and an 8-ball 5 in the last match against Gujarat Lions.
Dhoni’s ongoing struggle in for RPS got Twitterati starting different campaigns on the micro-blogging website. After the campaign #DhoniDropped was started, a counter campaign was started by the Jharkhand batsman’s fans, named #WeStandByDhoni.
Seeing Mahi at the center of such severe criticism, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajpoot has come in support of the wicket-keeper batsman and tweeted that Dhoni’s poor form with the bat is only a matter of time and he surely will answer his critics in style.
