IPL 2017: Fans slammed brother of RPS owner for insulting MS Dhoni

Harsh Goenka, the chairman of RPG Enterprises and brother of RPS owner Sanjiv Goenka, found himself on the receiving end after he posted a controversial tweet for MS Dhoni.


Team Rising Super Giant won their first match of IPL 2017 against Mumbai Indians in Pune, courtesy skipper Steve Smith’s wonderful knock of 84 off 54 balls.

The tweet by Goenka remained on his verified page for a couple of hours and was later deleted when talked about by fans.


In his tweet, wrote, “#RPSvMI Smith proves who’s the king of the jungle. Overshadows Dhoni totally. Captains innings. Great move to appoint him as captain”.

His words were clearly an insult to the most successful captains of the modern day cricket and therefore, cricket fans could not let Goenka go so easily.
