IPL 2017: Here’s why Rising Pune Supergiant players wore a black arm band during a game against Delhi Daredevils

During a T20 match between Rising Pune Supergiant and Delhi Daredevils in the ongoing IPL, the Supergiant players were seen wearing a black armband.

It was a mark of respect for Manoj Tiwary‘s father who passed away on Tuesday morning. And due to this reason, Manoj was not a part of the playing XI in yesterday’s game.

RPS franchise also tweeted about Manoj Tiwary’s father and wrote: “Manoj Tiwary lost his father this morning & won’t be playing. We send our condolences to him & his family. #RangWahiJungNayi #RPSvDD”
