IPL 2017: RCB announces the replacement for injured Sarfaraz Khan

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has named Harpreet Singh as the replacement for the injured Sarfaraz Khan for the rest of the ongoing IPL season.

Young Sarfaraz was injured during a pre-practice session and was taken off the ground. He hasn’t played a single game in IPL.

Meanwhile, Harpreet Singh was earlier ignored from the auctions, since he was mistaken for Harmeet Singh, a former IPL and Ranji player, who was arrested for driving his car into one of the platforms of Andheri station at Mumbai.

Harpreet was previously a part of the Pune Warriors India and Kolkata Knight Riders. This time he will join the RCB team which is currently placed at the sixth place in the points table.
