The explosive batsman from Kerala, Vishnu Vinod has been named as the replacement for KL Rahul in Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017.
KL Rahul withdrew from the tournament due to a shoulder injury that he suffered during the India-Australia test series.
Meanwhile, Vinod is an aggressive top-order batsman who has done well for Kerala in the T20 format. The right-hander has scored 338 runs in 38 matches at an average of 33.80 and a sensational strike-rate of 143.22.
