Former Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has now retired from International cricket and Team India has a heart touching farewell gift for the cricketer.
They have presented Afridi with skipper Virat Kohli’s ODI T-shirt with signatures of India team members on the back of it.
The shirt also has a message in Kohli’s handwriting which says, “To Shahid Bhai, best wishes, always a pleasure playing against you.”
Pakistani journalist, Faizan Lakhani, uploaded the picture of the signed shirt and tweeted it with a caption: “Virat Kohli’s shirt, signed by Indian team, for Shahid Afridi, with a message ‘always a pleasure playing against you’.”
Signatures of Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Ashish Nehra, Jasprit Bumrah, Suresh Raina, Pawan Negi, Mohammed Shami, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, R Ashwin, Hardik Pandya, and coach Ravi Shastri are identifiable on the image of the shirt.
