Twitter erupts as Andrew Tye picks up a hat-trick in his first IPL game

The Gujarat Lions pacer Andrew Tye made a dream debut in the IPL as he took a hat-trick in the last over of the first innings bowling against Rising Pune Supergiant.

Tyme picked up the wickets of RPS batsmen Ankit Sharma, Shardul Thakur and Manoj Tiwary in successive balls to achieve this feat.

He now also holds the record figures for any foreign bowler in the league with figures of 5/17 in his quota of four overs.
