IPL 2017: During a T20 match played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils at the Eden Gardens, the KKR batsman Robin Uthappa survived when he was batting on 9 runs as both the Daredevils fielders Sanju Samson and Amit Mishra did not make an attempt to take an easy looking catch.
It all happened on the third ball of the sixth over during the second innings, when Robin Uthappa miscued a pull off Kagiso Rabada and the ball went high into the air only to come back without any fielder making an attempt to catch it.
Not just the ball landed in no man’s land but also there was a lack of communication between the Daredevils players.
