Madhuri Dixit revealed her love for an Indian cricketer

Bollywood and cricket go down a long way when it comes to affairs. While some awaken a great deal of curiosity due to their respective glamour fronts, others fade away to no glory, with minimal traces of fumes. So coming as one such love affair, here’s our pick of the day, Madhuri Dixit and her love for star Indian cricketer.

More than her acting prowess, Madhuri Dixit is remembered for giving a technical twist to dance sequences in Bollywood films. Needless to say, she still continues to charm her fans with her grace and talents.

The ‘Dhak Dhak Karne Laga’ lady was also once deeply in love with a cricketer who was 18 years senior to her.

And the cricketer was none other than India’s legendary batsman Sunil Gavaskar.

Sunil Gavaskar

Madhuri had a huge crush on Gavaskar back in time when she was a teenager and Gavaskar was winning the cricket world with his bat.

The Bollywood beauty has been fortunate to enjoy both fame and money in her days as the lead actress. Her beauty left many sleepless, but in 1992, during a magazine interview to India Today, she said, “I am mad for Sunil Gavaskar. He is too sexy. I want to run behind him and he even came in my dream.”

Madhuri was 25 when she said this, and Gavaskar was 43 back then. Today the times have changed, but undoubtedly both of them look even sexier with age.
