Femina Miss India International 2013 and former IPL anchor Shonali Nagrani is a big cricket enthusiast and follows the game very closely.
Apart from hosting the IPL, she had also anchored the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2007, Word T20 in 2009 and 2010.
Well, during a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, when Shonali was asked to pick the hottest players in the IPL 2017 she named a few star cricketers.
Shonali feels that Rising Pune Supergiant’s captain Steve Smith is going to be one of the star performers this year.
“First up, it’s Steve Smith. I have seen him playing cricket for so many years, and he is just so calm. It will be interesting to see how he handles captaincy. He is going to be one of the star players this tournament.
The glamorous diva is also a big fan of Chris Gayle and former Indian opener Virender Sehwag.
“Then, I think, Chris Gayle. He has been a brand ambassador for IPL, and every time he comes out to bat, it’s great to watch. Sad that Sehwag won’t be playing this season — my dream was to see Sehwag and Gayle bat with each other.”
