ICC Champions Trophy 2017: In the first warm-up game of India against New Zealand played at the Oval, London, the defending champions (India) first bowled out the Kiwis for a low score of 189 and then won the match by 45 runs (D/L). Captain Virat Kohli (52) and MS Dhoni (17) were at the crease when rain interrupted the chase.
Well, one of the defining moment of the match was the stumping of Colin de Grandhomme in the 23rd over of 1st innings, thanks to a lightning fast stumping by Dhoni.
Seeing de Grandhomme coming down the pitch, Ravindra Jadeja cut the length of his delivery and pushed it wide. Then, Dhoni with his brilliant glove work sent the Kiwi all-rounder packing.
Earlier, Jadeja also dismissed the top-scorer of New Zealand’s innings Luke Ronchi with a beauty.
