IPL 2017: During a T20 match played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders at M. Chinnaswamy stadium, Virat Kohli showed his darker side when the onfield umpire goof-up denied a genuine wicket, which drove the RCB skipper mad. What followed was a sight, Kohli’s fans would have never seen before.
It all happened on the fourth ball of 15th over bowled by Yuzvendra Chahal. KKR batsman Yusuf Pathan nicked the ball and Kedar Jadhav took a clean catch behind the wicket, prompting RCB players to go for a huge shout. But the umpire turned down the appeal.
An enraged Kohli charged towards the umpire, even as his team-mates showed their disapproval of the verdict. Also, TV replays confirmed that Pathan got a huge under-edge.
