In the rarest of rare incidents, Mandeep Singh took the field for South Africa A despite being the 12th man for India A. South African team already had their video analyst Hendrikus Coertzen fielding for them as their players were suffering from stomach bugs and cramps.
When Quinton de Kock walked off the field, Mandeep donned the South Africa A jersey with the name of Eddie Leie on its back.
