India vs West Indies 2017: Indian team for West Indies tour announced

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday (June 15) announced a 15-man Indian squad for the limited-overs tour of the West Indies.

Youngster Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav have been included in the squad and they would most likely be playing their first ODI for the Men in Blue.

Opener Rohit Sharma and fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah are the only members of the Champions Trophy squad who won’t be making the trip to the Caribbean.

Virat Kohli‘s men will be playing five ODI’s and one T20I in the Caribbean with two ODI’s taking place in Antigua, two in Guyana and two in Jamaica. The only T20I will be played at the Sabina Park in Jamaica.

Virat Kohli (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant, Ajinkya Rahane, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wk), Yuvraj Singh, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohd. Shami, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav and Dinesh Karthik.
