Jos Buttler reveals the reason behind his naked celebration after Mumbai Indians won the IPL 2017 title

The tenth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) has concluded with Mumbai Indians winning the title. Jos Buttler, the English batsman, who was a part of the team in the group stage went back to England on national duty.

Buttler was watching the final match on his TV set and when his IPL franchise won the title, he started dancing without noticing that the towel he was wearing fell down. He also uploaded the video on his Instagram page and has now revealed the reason behind his naked celebration.

Speaking to www.ecb.co.uk, Buttler said that he went to take a shower during the match as he thought there was no hope left for his team to win the match. But, he was shocked after he came out as Mumbai Indians was still very much in the game. Getting nervous, he decided to sit in front of the TV and do not go anywhere again.

He also did not put his pants on. He further revealed that he has played a few finals – 7 to be precise but has not won any. Hence, he was disappointed after watching Mumbai’s batting in the IPL 2017 final and thought that Rising Pune Supergiant will win it comfortably. Well, the English batsman praised the bowlers and said that Mumbai has a great set of death over bowlers.

He also told that he was too nervous and after the last ball, was extremely delighted. Hence, he forgot that he was naked and began to jump with joy.
