A hero on the cricket field and former Team India captain MS Dhoni hasn’t shone quite as brilliantly in the field of academics, it has been revealed.
The Ranchi-born lad who finished his schooling at DAV school scored 66 percent and 56 percent in 10th and 12th standard respectively.
Dhoni told about his marks during an interaction with students of Sehwag International School. He also said that he even bunked classes in 11th standard.
When Mahi was in class 12th, he used to move out of Ranchi to play matches but only after his father’s permission.
Dhoni’s father Pan Singh Dhoni then used to tell him if you have prepared for the entire year than a day won’t affect your studies.
India’s most successful skipper also asked students to take part in each and every sport and then decide in which field he/she can be effective in that particular game. MSD also gave wicket-keeping tips to the junior players during his visit to Sehwag’s school.
