The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest rankings for the teams, batsmen and bowlers in the ODI circuit.
South Africa retained their top spot, followed by Australia and India. India will look to close down the points gap in the upcoming series against Sri Lanka. Also the Sri Lankan team will be hoping to use the series against India to get themselves into the direct qualification spots for the World Cup 2019.

Among the battling list, Indian skipper Virat Kohli is at the top again, after his stellar performance against the West Indies. David Warner, Joe Root and AB de Villiers are placed at number 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Quinton de Kock, Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis are the other 3 Proteas batsmen in the top 10 list.

In the bowling department, Australia’s Josh Hazlewood reached at the number 1 position, after having a great home season, whereas Imran Tahir and Mitchell Starc, who made a comeback after the injury fill up the remaining top 3 spots.
