1.) Sourav Ganguly
Sourav Ganguly’s and Dona’s families were neighbours in Kolkata and it was Dada who fell in love with his neighbour first. Unfortunately, the two families turned foes but that did not stop Dada and Dona from dating, secretly. In 1996, Sourav and Dona got married at the registrar’s office. Their families did not succeed in breaking them apart and few days later formal ceremony did take place.
2.) Sachin Tendulkar
Anjali first saw Sachin Tendulkar at the Mumbai Airport and had no idea he was a “big thing” in Indian cricket then. Thanks to a co-incidence, the two met at a mutual friend’s place once again and fell in love. The love birds got hitched together on 24th May 1995, since both the families did not try to hinder their love and everything went well.
